Half a day City tour
We begin the day discovering the distinct architectural features Sang sad Bhaban, the National Assembly Complex in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar designed by the famous architect Luis 1. Kahn. We then drive through the area of the First-ever University in Bangladesh, Dhaka University began in July 1st, 1921. The University of Dhaka affiliated 58 1st and 2nd grade colleges throughout the whole of East Bengal in 1947. Then a short drive takes us to the Central Shahid minar symbol of Bengali nationalism. This monument was built to commemorate the martyrs of the historic Language movement of 21st February in 1952, is now observed as International mother Language Day across the world .The final stop will be at the national museum contains a large number of interesting collections including sculptures and paintings of the Hindu, Buddhist and Muslim periods, It has also rich collection of old coins metal images, textiles including the world famous fabric, embroidered quilt (Nashi Kantha) and a lot of valuable articles of the heroic liberation war of Bangladesh.

Excursion
Option 1: An early morning drive for comprehensive tour where you can see all the places of interest around the historical Sonagoan of 13th century A.D is one of the oldest capitals of Bengal about 29 km on the Dhaka–Chittagong Highway from Dhaka. It was the seat of Deva Dynasty until the 13th century. From that century onward till the advent of the Mughals, Sonargaon was the subsidiary capital of the Sultanate of Bengal. Another name of Sonargaon was "The City of Panam". Now, there lies buildings of the old dynasties, Goaldia Mosque and the Folklore Museum that houses artifacts from every cultural trait of the country increase the attractions of this place. You can fill your heart by its historical and archeological things at Jainal Abedin Museum in Sonargaon. Among the ancient monuments still intact are the Tomb of Sultan Ghiasuddin (1399-1409 A. D), the shrines of Panjpirs and Shah Abdul Alia and a beautiful mosque in Goaldi village. Here you can also buy some handicrafts & traditional goods from the small local shops. Enjoy your time as you want, the day is yours. In the afternoon, we return to Dhaka, via the same route.

The tour begins with a visit to the Dhakeshwari Temple (11th Century). Then on to visit to see the Ahsan Manzil situated on the bank of the river Buriganga in Dhaka. Take a drive through historical fort Lal Bagh .It was built in 1678 A.D. by Prince Mohammad Azam, son of Mughal emperor Aurangazeb.

The fort was the scene of bloody battle during the first war of independence (1857) when 260 sepoys stationed here backed by the people revolted against British forces. Outstanding among the monuments of the Lalbagh are the tomb of Pari Bibi (Fairy lady), Lalbagh Mosque, Audience Hall and Hammam of Nawab Shaista Khan now housing a museum. Next, visit the Parliament House a symbol of architectural feathers. Continue the journey through the Dhaka University, first ever university in Bangladesh. Then take a brief stop for National Museum before returning the hotel.
